That’s right, I have been busy these past few weeks working on a television show that should be airing this May. The TV show is called “Alive” and is about Aaron Carotta. This is his story from his blog, and also some background on how the show got started.
“The US National Cable TV series, Alive with Aaron Carotta, had its beginnings through a life changing event for Aaron, diagnosed with cancer in 2008. After a year of learning to prioritize life, Aaron began a blog in which he explored the philosophy of living life to its fullest extent, not only traveling around the world and experiencing the unique adventures, cultures and histories of every nation he visited, but also putting them all onto a blog; Adventure Aaron.
The blog was a success, with thousands of followers and last year, Aaron was contracted by a television producer to go the next step and put together a series documenting his travels and adventures – and how anyone on any budget could experience them the same way. The series is scheduled to show to an estimated 30 million Americans, starting in May 2010. ‘Alive’ is the story of Aaron Carotta otherwise known as ‘ Adventure Aaron ’, who in 2008 was diagnosed with cancer. After spending a year overcoming the challenges of a life threatening disease, he was able to beat the disease and realized he needed to make up for lost time.
It was then that he decided to not only live every minute to the fullest, but also help to show others how they can do the same. In doing so, he set up the blog Adventure Aaron and began his travels, gathering a huge following as he did so. The result of that was the invitation to take the blog to US National Cable TV as a series. Alive! was born and already, the first series is well underway. The goal of the series is to inform people how to live out their dreams and conquer their fears, all while fitting into the routine of their everyday lives.”
